Declarations & decrees (prayer protocol)

Declarations & decrees (prayer protocol)

Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.  For the Lord is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endures to all generations.  Psalms 100:4‭-‬5

Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world. 1 John 4:17‭

Thanksgiving flows into Praise and Praise flows into Worship.

Worship flows into DECLARATIONS & DECREES.

As we discussed yesterday – Worship focuses on the IDENTITY of our God. It sees Him for WHO He is.

In Worship, we are accustomed to who He is and as a result – who we are.

Knowing who we are enlightens us to our authority.

It is a revelation of one’s authority that gives birth to DECLARATIONS & DECREES.

You are no longer requesting – you are now announcing and pronouncing with the authority of a king.

You are enforcing the will of God over circumstances with the authorized words of scripture and revelation.

Decrees and declarations are pronouncements that “it shall be so – because I say so…”

Why? Well, because as you worshipped the “King of kings…” all of a sudden you realized that  the smaller “king” is YOU.

In a corporate meeting – good worship will normally (super)naturally flow into declarations and decrees.

Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.  (1 John 3:2)

When JESUS comes in the clouds on His Return – we shall see Him “as He is…” When we do – WE shall be like Him.

That’s the miracle that happens in worship – it’s the rehearsal. We see Him as He is in worship (in a measure,) and we become like Him (in a measure..).

When you know you have the image of the King of kings….You can’t help it but play your part as the smaller king…
