A living sacrifice

A living sacrifice

I beg you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. Romans 12:1
I protest by your rejoicing which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die daily. 1 Corinthians 15:31
Your life is an offering to the Lord. Every Christian is supposed to lay themselves willingly on the altar of sacrifice daily.
(Paul said “I die daily…”)
Laying yourself on the altar of sacrifice is denying yourself.
There are three main dimensions of your life – your thoughts, your things and your people (relationships.)
Laying your life down means denying yourself in those three areas.
Your (physical) things includes your body.
Fasting is a form of denying yourself before the Lord.
You can either continue to have your same ordinary life or you can lay it willingly before the Lord so that you can take up a brand new life of power!
